This new “Get Golf Ready” campaign will be launched in conjunction with the upcoming 94th PGA Championship at Kiawah Island, S.C. The two new 30-second Public Service Announcements (PSAs) are updates to the spots that The PGA and the golf industry have run this year to promote Get Golf Ready. The new PSAs also will be used during the 2012 Ryder Cup and throughout 2013.
Between July 29 and Sept. 9, this new campaign will provide 427 airings of television and radio spots, along with digital, in-store and print promotion. The media value of the 1.3 billion impressions is approximately $5.5 million.
Finally, the campaign will air from Aug. 13 to Sept. 9 at some 3,300 WalMart stores nationwide, garnering some 651 million impressions.
