Ross Galarneault
GHIN Regional Association Services
Ross was a member of the Minnesota Golf Association staff for 15 years, the last six as executive director.  He was the executive director of the International Association of Golf Administrators for six years.  He was a member of the United States Golf Association’s Handicap Procedure Committee for eight years and was a member of the USGA Regional Association Committee for six years.  He served on two USGA Handicap Manual Drafting Committees, which are charged with the Quadra-annual re-writing of the USGA Handicap System Manual.  He has officiated at 23 national championships including five U.S. Opens.  Since 2001, Ross has been a member of the USGA’s staff, headquartered in New Jersey, and serves as the manager of regional association services for the Golf Handicap and Information Network (GHIN).  He travels the country extensively to educate golf association staff and member club officials on the use of GHIN products and services.  Also in that position, he coordinates the scoring activities for the USGA championships.  Each year he is assigned to assist by providing scoring support at three or four championships, including the US Women’s Open & US Amateur.  He additionally fills a supporting rules and competition roll at one championship annually.
