2011 Metro Chapter Junior Team Play

Welcome, and thank you for participating in the Metropolitan Chapter Junior League Team Play. The Metropolitan Chapter has been providing opportunities for juniors age 7 to 17 to experience the joy of participating on a competitive golf team for over 40 years. Through their experience, we hope to encourage participation on high school golf teams and assist in the pursuit of college golf scholarships.

Metro Chapter wins 2010 Chapter Challenge

Pelican-Hill-GC TM_Adidas_Ashworth Congratulations to the Metropolitan Chapter for winning the 2nd Annual TaylorMade-Adidas-Ashworth Chapter Challenge! The Chapter Challenge was conducted at beautiful Pelican Hill Golf Club on Monday, January 25. The Chapter Challenge teams were comprised of 12 professionals from each chapter consisting 7 Junior PGA members, 3 Senior PGA members, 1 Woman PGA professional and 1 apprentice professional.

Special thanks to the Pelican Hill Golf Club Staff including: Steve Friedlander, PGA General Manager; Gary Newman, PGA Director of Golf ; Steve Thomas, Director of Course Maintenance; Fernando Santizo, PGA Group Events Assistant.

This is the second year TaylorMade-Adidas-Ashworth has sponsored the event with supplying the purse and team uniforms. Thank you!
